2. Mila and Nenita are best friends. Mila left their town in the province of Romblon to work in Manila as a factory worker. Before Mila left, she requested Nenita to look after Lando, Mila's boyfriend. Three years have passed and Nenita and Lando have not received any news from Mila. Due to the terrible economic crisis that struck the country, Mila was among the many Filipinos who got laid off from their jobs.
