1.What is photometry? 2.What are the measurable quantities of the brightness? 3.Describe the wavelengths of red light and violet light? 4.What determine the color of light?
For me, This is like Question and Answer so its easy if you know it.
MY ANSWER AND NOTE TO THE ONE IS GOING TO ANSWER
PARA SA SASAGOT: I hope this helps to you, i am a student too.
AT ITO ANG SAGOT:
1. Photometry is the science of the measurement of light, in terms of its perceived brightness to the human eye. It is distinct from radiometry, which is the science of measurement of radiant energy (including light) in terms of absolute power.
2. The wavelengths of red light and violet light is different because red light wavelength has longer wavelength but low frequency but violet wavelength has shorter wavelength but higher frequency and it is also different because they have different nanometers. But they are still both wavelengths.
3. The wavelength of visible light determines the color that the light appears. Light with the longest wavelength appears red, and light with the shortest wavelength appears violet. ... The wavelengths of visible light that an object reflects or transmits determine the color that the object appears to the human eye.
