in multiplying a numbers with decimal points. it's just like multiplying a normal number then after multiplying it count the numbers of decimal places then from the right most side of the product-count the decimal points then point.
ex. 2.3×4.7
-just the same as
23×47=1081
so count the decimal points (2.3) one, (4.7) two.
then the product 1081 from the most right number 1081.
