Evangelization

• Evangelism's primary goal is to glorify God, not to save souls. We believe in God's work in people's lives, and that He will move people through the Holy Spirit. The Scriptures are the means by which God moves people.

Conversion is the transformation of our lives that occurs as a result of the power of the Holy Spirit. Everyone who accept the Gospel undergo transformation as we continually put on Christ's mind by rejecting sin and becoming more faithful disciples in his Church. We haven't yet truly accepted the Gospel except if we undertake transformation.

Missionaries

• St. Francis was the pioneer missionary to arrive on the shores of America and dedicate it to Jesus Crucified through prayer and sacrifice.

• St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of both animals and the environment, could be considered the first Earth Day advocate. Francis' love for all of God's creation reflected his devotion to God

• We recognize that individuals encounter transformation in a variety of ways.
• Some people have a life-changing epiphany.
• A few people develop gradually over time.
• Everyone else is converted as they participate in the Rite of Christian Initiation of Grownups, which is the traditional way for adults to become members of the Church today.
• Many people are converted through ordinary relationships with family and friends.
• Others have gone through it as a result of their education in Catholic schools and religious education programs.
• Others have continued to be converted as a result of renewals, ecumenical encounters, retreats, parish missions, or some of the great spiritual movements that have enriched church life today.
