1) We can protect ourselves from the danger of smoking by staying away from places where people smoke. This involves avoiding places where smoking is still permitted, such as restaurants and bars.
2) I have been told to never smoke now and in the future. Smoking is bad for our health and can lead to respiratory diseases and illness. What's more, it does not only harm us but those around as well because they end up inhaling second hand smoke.
