1. a Lesson 50 (Activity 2) Answer following statement with True or False Convection is the transfer of heat from one place to another by movement of in fluids. 2. Fluids includes liquids and gases. 3. When water is heated in a kettle, the molecules at the bottom gets heated first. 4. The heated molecules move and rise pushing the top molecules, which are cold, to the bottom. 5. The colder molecules sink, get heated at the bottom, and move up. 6. Warm fluids rises and cold fluid sinks forming currents. 7. Warm air rises, expands and gets hot again. 8. Convection is the reason why we have wind movements and local breezes. 9. During nighttime, air over the land is heated. 10. Cool air over the sea moves towards the land.
